Common Questions
Do I need previous volunteer experience?
No prior volunteer experience is required for many roles. We provide training and support. However, specialized roles (medical, teaching) do require relevant qualifications and experience.
Do you cover volunteer expenses?
For on-site volunteers, we typically cover accommodation and meals, but travel costs are usually the volunteer's responsibility. We can help with fundraising and some grants may be available for longer commitments.
Can I volunteer remotely?
Yes! We have many virtual volunteer opportunities including social media management, content creation, translation, online tutoring, research, and administrative support. These roles offer flexible hours.
What's the application process?
After submitting your application, we'll review it within 1-2 weeks. If there's a good match, we'll schedule an interview (video call). Successful applicants receive training materials and pre-departure orientation before starting.
